Registration for a Bike for Think Pink event

Description

Would you like to discover the pleasure of cycling together on a beautiful trail with a group of cheerful cyclists? Then a Bike for Think Pink event is just what you are looking for. You can easily register online, individually or in a group. We need your name, address and date of birth for your registration or to be able to arrange your insurance. Because many Bike for Think Pink events are aimed exclusively at women, we often ask for your gender. We can provide you with relevant information and keep you informed via e-mail. Your telephone number ensures that we can call or send you text messages with urgent questions. At the bottom, you can also indicate, without obligation,  whether you are a fellow-sufferer or not and, thus, if you have or have had breast cancer. As a Bike for Think Pink participant who is also a fellow-sufferer, you can use a Ridley bicycle for free. Moreover, we are often in a position to offer fellow-sufferers great promotions from partners or sympathisers. If we can contact you about those, you can indicate that in the yes/no drop-down menu.

For certain events, a (part of a) cycling outfit is included in the registration fee. That is why we ask for your size if necessary. If you can choose a certain distance at an event, or enter an option for a sports discipline of your choice, we also provide a selection menu for this.

Are you participating in an event together with friends or colleagues? Then you can also register as a team. In that case, we ask you to come up with a team name. We also ask for the name of your company if you are colleagues. This way we can immediately link the best team name to the right company.

Do the members in your team speak different languages? This is possible! Via the language selection menu, you can indicate per team member in which language we can best address them.

As a participant, you automatically have a sponsor page. In this way, sympathisers can sponsor you and you can deposit funds that you raised through a campaign. This is why we ask you to upload a photo and a motivational text. Those make your campaign more personal. Do you have a special Facebook page for your campaign or would you like to refer to your page on Facebook or Twitter or to a website? That is possible via the provided fields.

What personal data are stored?

Name, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, address, T-shirt size, fellow-sufferer yes or no, name of your company, name of the team members, name of the team and language preference.

Think Pink Guide app

Description

With the Think Pink Guide app, Think Pink wants to support you as a fellow-sufferer during your appointments with care providers. The app guides you through all appointments and provides you with questions that you can link to an appointment, allowing you to voice your concerns and actively participate throughout your treatment process.

What personal data are stored?

If you create a profile for the app, we will request limited information. This information is not mandatory and completely anonymous. You yourself indicate whether you would like to register for the Think Pink fellow-sufferer newsletter and whether you, therefore, receive a newsletter with messages that specifically concern fellow-sufferers. Further data can help us to identify what type of fellow-sufferers have what type of questions. That is why we deliberately limit ourselves to a year of birth, so that we can see the average age of fellow-sufferers using the app and if there is anything that we can do to adjust the app accordingly to make it more user-friendly and complete. Because questions can also be location-specific and because Think Pink is a strong advocate of treatments in an accredited breast clinic that meets legally determined quality standards, we ask for  your municipality/city. The question about your gender is to identify whether men have specific questions that may not be adequately addressed in the app, so that we can also optimise it for them. If the data are used, they will always be processed anonymously.

If you indicate that you want to register for the fellow-sufferer newsletter, your e-mail address will be used to send you that newsletter. Your date of birth, location, and gender are anonymised and then used to see if there are specific problems or needs in certain groups of fellow-sufferers. In this way, we want to better support fellow-sufferers and better weigh in on policy.
