Support people affected by breast cancer and join the biggest run and walk in Europe
The Race for the Cure®, the largest walking and running event organised in Europe to support the fight against breast cancer. We invites everyone to sign up and start moving together. Think Pink Belgium wants to send a strong signal across the country to raise awareness of breast cancer, which affects 1 in 8 women in Belgium.
From September 21st to November 3rd, 2023, Think Pink Belgium invites the participants of the Race for the Cure® to walk 3 km or run 5 km alone or with a team. Various races are being organised throughout Belgium, so that everyone can take part in this wonderful event based on solidarity and generosity.
During the Race for the Cure®, people affected by breast cancer walk or run in pink T-shirts, surrounded by their entourage and sympathizers in white T-shirts. Thanks to this unique two-colour concept, Think Pink is creating a strong and recognisable connection across the country.
The teams are the heart and soul of the Race for the Cure®. Sharing moments of solidarity and generosity between colleagues or family is one of the highlights of the Race for the Cure®.
The Team Captain is the person who initially registers the team. This person will receive a confirmation e-mail with a unique code for the team. This code is the key for making changes to the teampage (adding participants, changing information). The Team Captain can share the code with other team members. In this way, other people can join the team.
Please note: registration will be validated by direct payment at the time of registration. When you register, you can ask for a proof of payment.
Registration for the Race for the Cure® is 18€ per person. A special "Early Bird"rate of 16€ is available from June 1st to August 15th. The fee includes the official Race for the Cure® 2024 T-shirt.
The size of the requested T-shirt is not guaranteed and depends on the stocks available on site.
Children can participate for free. If they want a t-shirt, a registration fee is required.
Each participant receives a unique race number. You can add a personal message to your race number. This can be personalised on the www.raceforthecure.eu website and can be printed after downloading it.
Thanks to the presence and generosity of participants, Think Pink is able to fund scientific research and continue its day-to-day work of supporting people affected by breast cancer. In 2023, 16.000 people took part in this event in Belgium.
