Bike for Think Pink

Become a BikeStar

Do you like cycling, good company and beautiful bike trails in your neighbourhood without the pressure of a fixed rendezvous? Bike in the company of women who are just as wild about cycling as you are and become a Think Pink BikeStar!

Women and cycling: a successful combination
Think Pink BikeStars cycle together in regional groups led by enthusiastic Bike Captains because cycling together is a lot more fun and more motivating. This way, you get to fully enjoy you-time on your bike, without having to worry about fixed rendezvous or limiting yourself to one single region.

Exercising for life
Why the stress on exercising? It is an important preventative measure against breast cancer, and plays a crucial role in recovery during and after treatment. Moreover, it boosts body confidence after breast cancer treatment and other illnesses. And of course it is also great fun! To us, it is not important how many kilometres we cover during a stage. What counts is that we exercise and enjoy cycling, being outdoors and being together. Make sure to bring a road bike or another type of sporty bike (no mountain bike) and prepare to enjoy a marvellous ride.

Get to know our Bike Captains
Bike Captains seek out beautiful trails and keep you posted about the meetings. Does the weather forecast predict a nice day? A public holiday or an afternoon off? Via the Bike for Think Pink Facebook group and via e-mail, your Bike Captain will inform you about the latest events. Feel free to join us anytime you want.

Are you feeling like discovering a different region by bike? No problem: join a Bike Captain from that region and get to know a new area and new BikeStars. Highly recommended!

A Think Pink BikeStar is someone who embodies the ‘grinta’ or determination of a fellow-sufferer: never giving up, pushing through and enjoying life.
