The Think Pink Guide app and the Think Pink Guide booklet

In October = breast cancer month 2019, we launched the Think Pink Guide app: an app that wants to empower survivors during their treatment. In the app, you can easily add questions to your appointments: your own, specific questions, but also programmed questions that are clearly arranged per theme. Together with your healthcare provider, you can go through the questions and write down the answers during your appointment. In the app, you will also find an ABC in which specific terms related to breast cancer and treatment are clearly explained. In addition, you can also save photos of drawings and diagrams that your healthcare providers have made for you. Survivors who are less familiar with a smartphone, can use the paper version of the Think Pink Guide app: the Think Pink Guide booklet. The app is available in English, French and Dutch.

You can find the Think Pink Guide app in the App Store and in Google Play. The Think Pink Guide booklet is available in all breast clinics, as well as the Think Pink book.

The Beautiful Lengths Fund

Losing their hair due to treatment is often very painful to survivors. That is why the Beautiful Lengths Fund donates 200 euros for the purchase of a wig to survivors who are struggling financially. You can apply for this financial support through the social services of the hospital where you are being treated. This is a support in addition to the 180 euros that your health insurance fund contributes.

Exercise with Think Pink

Exercise is in Think Pink's DNA. It reduces the risk of developing breast cancer, but it also helps during recovery and reduces the risk of recurrence. We think it is important that everyone exercises and that is why we organise numerous sports events. Thanks to Bike - Run - Walk & Yoga for Think Pink, you’ll learn to trust your body again and you’ll discover how you can enjoy exercising again.

We regularly organise oncological rehabilitation programmes specifically for survivors.

Race for the Cure®

The Race for the Cure® is the biggest event in the fight against breast cancer worldwide. Participants do a walking tour (3 km) or a running tour (6 km). For the occasion, there is a big festival village. The whole day is filled with animation and intense emotions. On this day, survivors in Antwerp, Brussels, Namur and Charleroi celebrate life, everyone shows solidarity with survivors and, together, we commemorate everyone who unfortunately cannot be there with us anymore. We pamper you in our exclusive VIP room for survivors.
